This triptych given, what did an Assembly look like? The following description does not come from the Woodbury program. Rather, it comes from a description based on notes from the Service Bureau for Intercultural Education, which Rachel described in her EdD Dissertation, “Adventures in Intercultural Education” (1940. New York University) to be discussed in Chap. 6.

This Assembly featured African culture. This was the progression of the program (DuBois 1940, 75–76). It is presented in outline form in this particular reference; therefore, it is hard to get an actual feel for what happened:1.Introduction: Miss Miriam Ephraim spoke on two exhibits on African art on display at New York City museums.
